Chromatography & Spectroscopy - Latest News Monday 29th September 2008

Competition Announced to Encourage Laboratory Scientists to Find out More About Leading Science Exhibition.

The Photonex exhibition includes biophotonics subjects within the technologies on show and optical techniques for the laboratory scientists including spectroscopy.

Photonics [the application and measurement of light] is now key to the advancement of laboratory core research and development. The latest optical techniques are extensively interdisciplinary and applied within life sciences, biotechnology, environmental monitoring, energy resource development, agricultural and food analysis, and many other core laboratory and field sciences.

Visiting PHOTONEX will provide you with a dynamic interface with the most recent advances. Photonics techniques are yielding; ultra micro and selective novel sensors, multianalyte fast array analysis, fast kinetic and polarisation spectroscopy, novel nano materials, new solid state inorganic and organic light sources, thin film coating synthesis - just a few of the many activities being applied.

Scientists who wish to enter a free prize draw for an Asus Eee PC should visit the website to fill in the competition entry form. It is open to all.

PHOTONEX08 will once again be held at the impressive Stoneleigh Park venue, ideally oriented to meet the requirements of the show`s 130 plus exhibitors, and offering free parking and excellent facilities for visitors. The dates are the 15th & 16th October 2008.
